This filly (Blue) has more growing and developing to do (14.3h now; my guess is she will be 15 to15.1h when fully mature), but she is beautiful, calm and riding nice after 90 days professional training with Twister Heller. Blue was pasture-raised at Twister's (Congress, AZ), is out of his former stud, Salty Wininic (the sire is built stout, beautiful and seems to pass along his great temperament), grew up in the rocks and can get around great in them. She has been used some to gather cattle in rough terrain and has been on a cow in the pen a couple of times and does show interest. She has been ridden out on rocky trails with other horses and by herself, and has already even done a pretty tough, mountainous trail. This filly is AQHA Appendix registered (X0669537), as her mother was the same. The dam was bred to race and comes from the very successful Dash for Cash line. I think this filly has the speed to barrel race and should be stout enough to rope. She has good bone and good size feet, really good stamina and wind, so competitive trail riding might be her niche, too, since not much seems to bother her (see video with train at end). In video, Twister hadn't been on her in almost 3 months, and I started shooting the video right after he got on her. She also went to a Buck Brannaman clinic in April for two days.
